Javea (or Xabia) is situated in Alicante province, in the bay between San Antonio and Cabo de la Nau, about 80 km north-east of Alicante, in between Denia and Altea. Javea has a lovely sandy beach and a more pebbly one towards the port.
For the tourists there are good restaurants both in the port area and along the beach walk of Arenal. The old part of Javea is historic, typical Spanish place.
