Municipality Niebla is an administrative unit in Province Huelva.
Municipality Niebla is located in autonomous community of Andalusia, southern Spain. It is part of Huelva province. The village is situated on plain land, on the shores of the río Tinto, at distance around 30km southeast to the provincial capital Huelva city and 60km to Seville.
Niebla literally means "fog" in Spanish, a name that might relate to its relative proximity to the Atlantic coast. Its history dates back roughly 3000 years. Archaeological finds suggest that farming activities were undertaken during the end of the Bronze Age.
