Punxín is a small village and municipality in the province of Ourense (autonomous community of Galicia, north-western Spain), strategically located on the River Barbantiño. It is situated between the city of Orense and the village of O Carballiño. It has fast connection with citiies of Orense and Santiago by the highway A-52.
