Municipality Santa Cruz De La Palma is an administrative unit in Province Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Municipality Santa Cruz de La Palma (sometime written as S/C de La Palma, or just Santa Cruz) is located on the east coast of island la Palma (one of the Canary islands). The municipality borders with neighbouring Puntallana to the north at Barranco Seco and with Breña Alta to the south at Barranco de Juan Mayor. East of it is the ocean and to the west lie the summits of Cumbre Nueva and the Caldera de Taburiente crater with its island's highest point, Pico de La Nieve (2,247m).

The city of Santa Cruz de La Palma was founded in 1493. It is the island capital and is situated between the coast and the steep hillside. In 2007 a ring road was completed behind the town using a series of tunnels.

The town is a popular tourists destinations and attracts visitors with its historic buildings and museums, narrow and cobbled streets, picturesque coast, and more.
