Municipality of Guadix is located in province of Granada in autonomous community of Andalusia (southern Spain), north-east of regional center - city of Granada. Cave dwellings carved out of the hills mark the landscape.
Guadix is one of the oldest settlements in Spain. Some of its outstanding monuments are: the fortress, the Cathedral, the church of Santiago and numerous Moorish buildings.
