Gandia is a municipal town in the
Valencian Community, Eastern
Spain. The town is located on the Costa del Azahar, 65 km south of
city of Valencia and 96 km north of town of
Alicante. With its long, wide, golden, sandy beaches
Gandia is one of the major tourist destinations in
Spain.
The town offers to its visitors historical monuments, commercial and shopping centers, tourist attractions. The beach of Gandia is located some 2km away from the city which separates summer tourism from day-to-day living (the bars and nightclubs are concentrated in the beach area).
