Zaragoza (called also
Saragossa in English), is the capital city of the
Zaragoza province and of the autonomous community and former Kingdom of
Aragon,
Spain.
The city is located in northern
Spain, at the highest point in the valley of Ebro. The surrounding landscapes are very impressive; full of picturesque Spanish villages with age-old traditions and very popular customs.
Zaragoza was founded over 2000 years ago and houses some of the most stunning monuments in the country. Iberians, Goths, Romans, Arabs, Jews and Christians have all left their mark here. There can be seen some important Spanish baroque buildings.

Zaragoza is a modern European city that continues to grow. It is famous for its folklore, a renowned local gastronomy, its trilogy of landmarks.
